Bernard Perron
Bernard Perron is Full Professor of Cinema at the University of Montreal. He has co-edited The Video Game Theory Reader 1 (Routledge, 2003) and 2 (Routledge, 2009). He has also edited Horror Video Games: Essays on the Fusion of Fear and Play (McFarland, 2009). He has written Silent Hill: The Terror Engine, to be published in 2011 by The University of Michigan Press in The Landmark Video Games book series he is co-editing. Chris Pruett
By day, Chris runs Robot Invader, makers of mechanical devices of destruction as well as video games. He is the author of REPLICA ISLAND, a free, open-source game for Android devices, and spent three years at Google working as a developer advocate for that platform. Before joining Google, Chris spent several years in the game industry as an engineer, and shipped ten titles for various console platforms. Under the cover of night he maintains Chris’ Survival Horror Quest (http://dreamdawn.com/sh), a research blog devoted to the dissection and analysis of horror video games. Chris lives with his wife and daughter in Cupertino, California.

Elyse Rozelle
Elyse Rozelle is a freelance copy editor from upstate New York. She has degrees in English and Copy Editing, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Publishing. She has been playing video games for most of her life and credits Clock Tower for turning her over to the Dark Side.

Steve Amm is a collector of horror video games, and went to Columbia College and holds a BA for film and video.
Jeff Howard is Assistant Professor of Game Development and Design at Dakota State University. He is author of Quests: Design, Theory, and History in Games and Narratives. He studies occult and horror themes and mechanics in games, with current focus on game magic systems.
Jacob Butcher
Jacob Butcher holds a B.A. in Literary Studies from Eastern Washington University. His academic work has focused mainly on rhetoric and video games. He lives in Spokane, Washington, where he works, studies, and plays music.
